Waterfront Park

Veterans Waterfront Park is located in the Village of Port Austin. The park opened in 2008 with the dedication of the Veterans Memorial and has since expanded to include a public beach, playground area, and a scenic 1/2 mile-long accessible walkway along the break wall.

Visitors can enjoy the park's sandy beach, pavilion & picnic spots, restrooms, outdoor fitness park, and playground. The breakwall walkway offers breathtaking vistas of Lake Huron, the Port Austin Reef Lighthouse, and the marina, making it a perfect spot for strolls and photo opportunities.

Veterans Waterfront Park stands as a tribute to veterans, boasting monuments and memorials that honor their service, inviting visitors to enjoy its beauty year-round while engaging in various recreational activities.
